Super Liquid Folate
1 oz Price: $28.00
December 1, 2006: A new study published in the British Medical Journal supports the scientific evidence provided by previous studies that justifies the use of folic acid as a cheap and simple way of reducing the risk of heart disease and strokes. Aiming at clarifying the issue, Dr David Wald, a heart expert, and his colleagues examined all the evidence from different studies to see whether raised homocysteine is a cause of cardiovascular disease. The authors of the study say that since folic acid reduces homocysteine concentrations, it follows that increasing folic acid consumption will reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. The researchers are of the view that there is enough evidence to justify action on lowering homocysteine concentrations.
